Ok, ok now this is interesting. I honestly paid no attention to Freeze at Ole Miss. I just recall him killing recruiting a few years. So heres the question, can he actually "flat out coach"? Or was it Longo with the recruits Freee paid for?

Why not?

I just don’t think he’d be that great
Although I don’t think many would

flat out coach"?

His offense would definitely help since we are a school that usually has shite talent

Let me also add that freeze is a coach we could actually land. We don’t always land who we go after. After spurrier left we went hard after Kirby smart but once that was not an option anymore it was basically between Muschamp and Rich Rod who apparently wanted ridiculously high money. It depends on the year who is available and what other programs are looking for a coach.

god he's such a douche though with the holiness routine. But then again so is Dabo, this could get interesting.

If it brought us even some of the success Dabo had at Clemson give it to me

dog shite talent

Nah we had the talent to beat Citadel that day. Defense got chewed up all day. We had the lead and lost the game in the 4th quarter.

team was lost.

Agree this was the issue. Spurrier gave up on them that year and they were ready for it to be over.

I personally would prefer Muschamp find success here and be the long term solution rather than start over AGAIN. I think last year was just an injury bitten, depth issues cluster#@## and will prove to be an anomaly. The talent is starting to see Carolina as a destination again. The roster is changing for the better. And besides that, I like the guy. I give him 3 years to be competing for an SEC. Why 3? Bc of the mess SOS left and bc we're SC. Sandwiched between 2 hot teams and we have no recent success to point to. If not by then then give him the boot.

i like him too, but 3 more years of shite seasons will leave us worse off than we were with Fat Brad. This year is a wash no doubt, but 2021 is a make it or break it year for him, no questions asked. He either wins 9 games or he goes packing

No chance Bobo gets a look? He's got SEC and head coaching experience. He can recruit his arse off too.

No way in hell IMHO, he was fired at Colorado State, cant fire Boom and then back that up and hire another failed HC at a MAC school. I stand by what i said earlier in the thread the next coach will either be Scott Satterfield or Billy Napier. Both have expressed interest in the job. I could also see the HC from Charlotte getting a look as well, but i believe that would be a bit to premature to go grab him, but he does look very promising as a huge up and comer.

The sad part is this will be the last OC he ever gets to hire likely anywhere. And he was still too stupid to get it right. Theres were 30 better candidates, some costing more, some costing less. And he chose to give Bobo a job while he knew he has a guaranteed job.

He never gave a frick about getting this program back on track. If he had, he wouldn't have

-drug dips hit with him from Florida
-threw Mcclendon a bone
-threw Bobo a bone

Some of you really can't read writing on a wall in front of your face. WE GOT MILKED and Tanner got played.

I'm not sure if he doesn't care, or if he just doesn't have the instincts to get us turned around especially on offense, or if it's both. Also not seeing how Tanner got played, I think he knew perfectly what he was doing.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't care. I could make a case if he gave up his pay and actually tried to go after someone with a pulse.

Have you noticed how interested the main board is with whom our new coach will be? I'd love to just be competitive again honestly.

We arent't going to be competitive for decades. Half of us will be dead before we ever see SC become competitive again.
