Odd coming from the coach of the team that for decades refused to go to College Station to play A&M.

Not if you consider that this coach beats Aggie by an average of 21 points every time they play.

For 20 years the game was in Baton Rouge, presumably because A&M preferred to make more money than they could make in College Station at the time or because A&M was bad at negotiating a deal, and more likely the former. It wasn’t because of a refusal to play home and home. If the Aggies didn’t like the deal, they could have refused the contract. Apparently LSU was the stronger party in putting the deal together.

You need to figure out context and priorities.

Why would a Big6 team in the best conference Need to play a never-was in a weeeeeeeak conference?

It comes down to this:

Aggy was not an attractive opponent. LSU would have rather had a better tv draw state of Texas school than a conference mid-tier.

Record stands at something like 33-21.

It sucks to hear. But you need truth.
