Well let's be clear about this; you can put it another way. When was the last time Florida, Georgia, LSU, or Auburn tried to schedule Ohio State for a home and home. I don't think you can just blame this on the one side. OSU will play anyone anywhere. They obviously don't shy away from any programs, as they'll have hit every conference but the Big East by 2018, and pretty much the best teams in each conference.

Honestly, I think that if Auburn asked Michigan now to play, RR would be for it by 2010; he doesn't shy away from anyone; heck, he's the one who scheduled Auburn for WVU this year.

In fact, I think it's more that the SEC is to blame. Isn't there a stat showing how far each conference has traveled for OOC games in the last like 10 years?

Ok, let us try to use common sense. A) You admit the SEC is trying harder with out of conference programs. B) We all know OSU's stellar record against the SEC in the past few decades (not sure whey an SEC team would duck a bye). C) You say they will play anyone, anywhere while another OSU fan demonstrates one OOC game a year against a real conference means 'you are full'.

Doesnt shy away, but wont be ready until 2010. Sounds a little shy for 2009.

look at the quality out of conference opponents year after year. Just because you guys lose to Appy State, W Michigan, North Dakota St, Iowa State, Bowling Green, Duke etc... does not mean they are worth a shite.

What was the Big 10's marquee OOC win last year? What were the 4-5 toughest regular season OOC opponents. Impressive.
