Do you think the SEC coaches had a conference and discussed the public display of the SEC or do you think that the coaches all just got fed up on the media? I mean, it seems that the coaches, less Saban, all have a similar outlook and bond to represent the conference.
I personally love how the rest of the country hates us, is envious, teffied to play us and yet attempts to belittle us with "civil war references, redneck jokes and racist stereotypes. That shite really cracks me up. Wake up people. We are better and we are pissed and we are coming for each and every one of you.

So sit around your water coolers and discuss OSU and USC football (By the way, I respect USC and OSU). But don't be pissed when you hear us say we are the best, because we are. IMHO, a 3 loss, yes, a three loss SEC team like UGA, LSU or UF should play in a title game after this year, but you won't see it. You'll end up with an OSU v. OU game that will suck. They won't be the best team in the country, but it will be enough for sports writers and bandwagon fans to jerk off to.

I think Tubs started it several years ago when he called out ESPN and ripped them a new arse. It was in '05 or '06. Meyer and Miles stepped it up big time last year too.

SEC pride is for chumps. I damn sure wasn't rooting for AU, Tenn, or LSU in any of their bowl games.

And that's exactly why no one else in the SEC likes dick bag fans like you. Yall don't understand that the SEC must stick together. Some of you just don't understand that and want your team to be the best at all costs, even if that means selling out your conference (or sister). It will come back to bite you in the arse one day.

But it can't be proved until the bowl season. In 2011, there still may be an SEC lovefest, but the battles in the fing ACC may be better, and the ACC may have the best teams. That is why they have to keep it the way it is, because you can't prove a 3 loss team deserves to be there more than a 1 loss USC. You just can't. I respect the SEC conference to no end, and when you list the teams it's shocking how many quality programs there are. However, any 2 loss team, aside from 2007, should not be in the hunt for a national title. If the team is so good, it should gut out wins like UF did in 2006, and not lose to .500 football teams.

Why must we stick together? We are the best conference imo and are widely regarded as such. Only a team like Auburn would get left out of the big game, they're used to it. It ain't gonna happen to LSU, so why worry?

You must understand that I want Ole miss to lose every fricking game they play in every sport.

Other than that, i'll pull for another SEC team. Well, maybe not Bama's basketball. Gottfried is a POS.

SO you have no pride in the SEC, your schedule, history or a family within the south?
You've got to understand, the rest of teh country doesn't care abot Alabama football or SOuthern football. To them, we are a joke. All they think we do is hunt and talk about SEC football.

WTF, I live in Texas and pretty much everyone I talk to here says the SEC is the best football conference. The media is slobbering all over the SEC right now. I take pride in the SEC, I just want AU, Tenn, and LSU (only because of the Saban hiring and all its brought) to lose every single game.

Oh, my people, except for the elite teams in other conferences willa dmit that the SEC is the best conference. But get an OU fan to concede the point without a fight. It won't happen. THe same thing would be true with most USC fans. Trust me, Ilve in Oklahoma, and these fans would be very reluctant to admit this. ANd even if they did, they would throw out some dick head comment I referred to earlier.

Honestly, at the end of the year this year, the Big12 might be better. SEC homers will never admit its even a possibility, but its true.

I dunno, maybe we have different experiences, but I was under the impression that most people think the SEC is the best football wise. 7-2 in bowl games last year, that pretty fricking good.

How do you figure that. Look at their conference champion. Mizzou played an arky team without McFadden even trying and KU played a way overrated VTech team. Texas, well their season was a down year. Who else?

I mean Mizzou killed Arky though, but I know Arky wasn't more than just a decent/pretty good team last year. KU won't be as good this year IMO, their schedule in conference and OOC was a joke, they did win a BCS bowl though. Texas, not real high on them myself, ol Cart sucks imo. They are still a solid team though, not a gimme win by any means. Oklahoma, NC contender this year, not debatable really. NU, CU, and TT are all decent, not buying the TT hype myself.

How is 2007 different from any future season?

If a team plays a wicked-hard schedule (insert "SEC as toughest conference" argument here), their two losses put them above any two-loss peers who played lesser competition, and arguably above - or at the very least on par with - one-loss teams that played nobody.

This of course assumes no or only one undefeated teams exist. An undefeated team from a BCS conference should never be left out.
