I want Gator bait back, too, but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to re-evaluate our icons and analyze the symbolism behind them
There's definitely a competition going on amongst corporations to be the most woke (see Aunt Jemima among others) which I think is fairly meaningless in the overall discussion of systemic racism, but private corporations can make whatever choice they want in attempting to appease as many people as possible.
But, like, fearing that the United States government will change the flag because of external pressure is the most ridiculous, extreme example.
You guys think status-quo Joe Biden is going to sign an executive order to ban the flag? Yeah, ok

Banning no but he would absolutely change it after he got in(assuming he gets a blue wave like the polls are saying whatever you think of polls) and has control of the congress he could take a MetaMucil dump in the rotunda at that point and get away with it.
