Nick Saban (Alabama). Perhaps Mr. Saban deserves a category unto himself. Afterall, he is walking around with five national championship rings. Saban is the gold standard in college football coaching and likely deserves his own distinction…

Nick is in a league all his own. Is what it is.

The tiers go from there.

That thing is worthless. There really isn’t much to add. Just turrible.

Orgeron is probably loved by his players more than any other coach in the SEC. That’s a very valuable trait. He reminds me of the old school coaches like Pat Dye.

Saban

Ed O

Smart/Mullen/Leach/Fisher

Stoops/Kiffin/Gus

the rest will not have jobs in a few years so doesn't matter.

Way too many tiers dude. Might as well have like 14 tiers and call it a ranking. At max 3 tiers:

National Championship possibilities in any 4 year cycle:
Saban, Ed, Smart

National Championship possibilities in any 8 year period:
Gus, Fisher, Mullen

The other 8 dudes.
