You are correct on both. This is all hypothetical. If they never did the LHN which by the way ruined what was once a decent league, then Texas would been a no brainer. Their revenue is usually #1 in all athletics. They’re a flagship brand name. They belong in a league with the likes of LSU, Alabama, Florida, Georgia etc. not the likes of Kansas, Iowa State, West Virginia etc. The same goes for Oklahoma. These brands are too historical to be associated with low tier programs. They both belong in either the SEC or big10.
I don’t understand why Oklahoma or Texas are content with the big12. SEC aside, why not play in a conference with other blue bloods instead of beating up on basketball schools like Kansas? What’s the average stadium size these teams play in besides their own?

Yeah, that league they’re in isn’t forcing them to be better (well, at least that can be said for Oklahoma right now, but Texas is really close to righting the ship). It would be great to see them in one of the two strongest conferences.

This is also wrong . . . .Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, and others were all looking for the exits well before the Lonnghorn Network was even a concept.
