Alabama at Oklahoma in 2002. OU was really good that year and no one gave us much of a chance against them. Franchione opened the game with an onsides kick recovered by the kicker and one of my favorite Bama players ever, Lane Bearden. It turned into an incredibly tight game and very late in the fourth Bama was driving with a chance to win when Tyler Watts went to pass to a wide open receiver, only to pull a Jeremy Johnson and have the ball slip out of his hand. The Sooners recovered the fumble and that was that. It took quite a while for a much younger TheTideMustRoll to recover from the pain of that loss.
