Yeah I don’t see elite speed like Achane, but watching his tape felt old school. Almost all of it out of the I. He gets up field quickly and doesn’t dance. Runs between the tackles. Drags guys and doesn’t go down easily.
Here is how his #s compares to some of the other top backs from last year's class who signed with SEC teams.
LJ Johnson - 5-10, 204, 4.42 40, 4.26 Shuttle, 34.20 Vert.
Tank Bigsby - 6-0, 210, 4.55 40, 4.34 Shuttle, 34.90 Vert
MarShawn Lloyd - 5-9, 211, 4.51 40, 4.25 Shuttle, 37.90 Vert.
Jase McClellan - 5-10.5, 200, 4.55 40, 3.97 Shuttle, 39.60 Vert.
Kendall Milton - 6-1.5, 215, 4.76 40, 4.25 Shuttle, 35.80 Vert.

Most CB's, except for the top quarter prognosticators are dungbait. As for me, my dream back this year was TreVeon Henderson...
