Prediction: Saban Retires After This Season

Note: I also predicted Coach O would be a failure, so take with a grain of salt.
I just think things are lining up for his retirement. Clemson has passed him, Georgia is recruiting at his level, Tennessee and LSU are recruiting at or near his level.
More than that, he just didn’t seem to be himself last year.
I predict, with no inside information whatsoever, that this is his “last dance”.

Clemson will absolutely be a better team than Bama in 2020. Florida is also on the rise. There is comp everywhere and he’s not getting the recruits he’s had in the past. Without a large talent advantage, Saban is still great but not necessarily elite.
