A big strikeout all around.

The big strikeout is WT21 and his merry band of groupies conveniently leaving out the "or better" part of my post. Playing Michigan in the Citrus Bowl is infinitely better than playing Baylor in the Sugar Bowl. Better ratings, better attendance, better match-up, better name recognition, better coaching match up.

You disagree? What a buzzkill to get to the Sugar Bowl and play Uta... I mean Baylor.

Sugar Bowl attendance missed setting the all time record low by ~1,000 people.

Anyone would disagree. When talking about what bowl is the best bowl, the Citrus Bowl will NEVER, EVER be better than going to the Sugar Bowl. Not last year, next year or 20 years from now.

It sure as hell is if you’re a Top 10 team and have the option to either play Baylor in a “NY6 Bowl,” or Michigan in the Citrus Bowl on New Years Day. That’s clearly evidenced by the near record low attendance.

That's not how this works.

The bowls have a certain prestige attached to them and you get to a higher bowl by having a better seeason. So, when you say "we've gotten to a NY6 bowl or higher every year since 2017" what you're saying is that you've reached a certain level of success in each season. As we all know, you're team did not reach that level of success in each of those seasons.

Well, that’s not what I said.

The only season within question is 2019, and as we both know - our team certainly reached a higher level of success than Baylor, who finished with 3 losses and won games with the following margins:

Rice (3-9) - 8 points
Iowa State (7-6) - 2 points
Texas Tech (4-8) - 3 points (2 OT)
West Virginia (5-7) - 3 points
TCU (5-7) - 6 points (3 OT)

Its especially funny how you're pretending Alabama had the "option" and chose the Citrus Bowl.

Well, that’s not what I said.

You're right. You said 2007. I had a typo. Here it is.

Bama hasn't missed a NY6 or better bowl since 2007.

This is factually incorrect.

No, it's not. Not going to bother to respond to the rest of my post?

Who had a better season? Bama or Baylor?
