Dude talks about 17 year old kids like he’s buying car parts

I understand it’s pervasive in the sport, but still a bit shocking when you actually hear a major D1 coach refer to prospects as things, items to be bought.

Unfortunately that's part of being a college basketball coach. Players are commodities and coaches are competing with other schools doing the same thing. The whole system is screwed up. That doesn't make him a bad person or that he doesn't care about his players.

I can understand your argument. Same class of people want reparations for slavery but coaches literally buying 17 year olds and negotiating with parents.

You mean like salaries, signing bonuses, endorsement contracts, benefits packages, etc.?

Shocking that there would be a quantitative price attached to ones's abilities and performance. We have to eliminate this entirely.

I love how A&M fans are always pointing at LSU with the high and mighty “Do better” attitude. Guess what, there’s a reason you guys haven’t accomplished shite in athletics maybe you should take a page out of our book and catch up with the rest of the conference.

I hate to break it to you but Jimbo Fisher is the absolute biggest piece of shite in college football and he’s your coach. Embarrassing
