Regulation almost always favors the rich.
Corruption is against the law. Enforce the laws and the need for regulation dwindles.
Hell is always paved with good intentions. Democrats will never learn this.

Capitalism gives an avenue for human greed to flourish but does so in a "win-win" environment instead of a zero sum one.
Combine it with Free Market ideals and you have people bringing themselves out of poverty in higher rates than any other socio-economic system.
