Jeremy Pruitt (not so subtly) hints that Tennessee S&C coordinator Craig Fitzgerald turned down an offer from Alabama after Scott Cochran took a job at Georgia.
“I can’t say enough about Craig. ... Craig was the first guy they called and he decided to stay here.”

Fitz is a great guy and probably the finest S&C coach in the league if not the country.
Spurrier totally screwed that one up.

Doesn't matter if he tried to hire some other S&C coaches or not. Fact is he did find the best coach and analyst to take us where we belong. That's back on top to infinity and beyond!
