Yeah, everything was going so well for ole miss, Missouri, tennessee, alabama, and Oregon state until mighty buzz Williams came in and derailed their dreams!!

Texas A&M has the budget, resources, and size of the Alabamas of the world.
Yet they perform at the bottom with the rest of us.

A&M is a year or two away from having more total SEC Championships than Mississippi State does in their entire history.

Oregon State was 9-1 before facing A&M. They're 8-11 since.
Ole Miss was 10-4 before facing A&M. They're 5-10 since.
Tennessee was 13-7 before facing A&M. They're 4-6 since.
Missouri was 10-8 before facing A&M. They're 5-7 since, including a 2nd loss to A&M.
Alabama was solidly in the tournament before facing A&M. They're NIT at best now.
Mississippi State was solidly in the tournament before facing A&M. They MIGHT make the dance now.
Arkansas was on the right side of the bubble before facing A&M. They're not now.

The only thing TAMU is happy about is getting away from the savagery that UT-Austin has laid upon them for years, and years, and years.
