I will vote against people who I think are active players in this decision-making and speak out at every opportunity to whoever wants to listen.

I expect societal unrest and disobedience is likely if these restrictions last longer than a few more weeks, regardless of my feelings on the matter. $1200 isn't going to get it done for many, never mind the social and psychological issues that will undoubtedly become a significant issue.
