Or we can go look at the states that’s impacted the worse and come to a different conclusion. New York is in a panic right now because they didn’t prepare better, should I assume they didn’t take a pandemic seriously?

That’s fine, but when you actually see the impact it’s making on US states, why would you not adjust accordingly? Kemp and DeSantis have been embarrassing (I say that as someone would have voted for Kemp).

I mean, go look through this thread. Go look on the political board. Go look at any right wing media video from a month ago playing up this virus over liberal fears. There’s so much evidence that many members of the right did not take this as seriously as they should have.

This also applies to any member of the left who tried to sneak stuff into the bill (Pelosi being the worst of them).

That remains to be seen.

I agree the lockdowns slow down the inevitable, but the inevitable is the inevitable.

Call me when it kills 56,000 (the number of flu deaths last season).

Then you can tell me I'm dumb and had my head in the sand.

Until then, goruntelldat to ya lil' boyfren

41% of Georgia is rural. I’m sure Kemp was hesitant to lock half the state down when the very stats you keep crowing about shows rural areas largely slightly affected. Now maybe he could have locked Atlanta down sooner but the mayor could have done it way ahead of Kemp if there was so much concern.
