I stated my observation. It's valid and it holds up to scrutiny. Be indignant if you'd like to be- I can't control that. The record speaks for itself. As Coach Saban would say, it is what it is. I really don't need to respond further.

I've made it pretty clear I'm not banning people for saying mean words to other people. If we did, half this board would be banned.

Take a gander at 2-3 of the Golding centric threads. Applying the standard you noted there would be no less than 5-6 individuals banned solely from the discussion in those threads. I'm just not doing that. Maybe that means somebody else needs to take my spot to help ban people for being dicks, I don't know.

This part is just kind of a joke. If we want to get all pissy about people being asses to one another and "personal" then let's do a full accounting. Because while 3rd and prevatt have done their fair share of assholery, they most definitely are not the only ones. I'd be happy to go through and post examples of all sorts of folks here personally attacking eachother or posting about the same topic in every thread and trying to detail it (hint, it isn't all "Golding's Groupies").

So fine, we want to get back to banning everyone who calls someone stupid, have at it. We'll find someone to mod who enjoys that role. I'm happy to hand over the baton, but I prefer to let people figure out how to behave. If that style doesn't work then I'm fine just posting what I want to post and let those of you who seem so concerned with internet feelings run this little corner of the internet however you see fit.
