This year was a shot across the bow to the SEC and college football in general that LSU finally has the administration to unleash the beast on the rest of the nation. I don’t think this train will be stopped for a decade at the least.

Just like the basketball team. Doubt LSU ever loses again in either sport.

Your train lost it's locomotive when Burrow left. Cam Newton says hello.

Definitely possible.

I think we drop to Florida, as that will be Brennan's 1st game in a hostile environment. Then go 1-1 against Auburn and Alabama. 10-2 is my prediction, but I could see losses against all 3.

8-4 is the absolute floor and would mean Kiffin is able to properly utilize JR Plumlee. I can't see us losing to Texas, A&M, Or State.

I also wouldn't be terribly surprised if we repeat. It really all relies on how efficient they are at getting Brennan to feed the playmakers. I don't think anyone in the SEC will have as dangerous of a wr corps.

I remember when auburn said the same shite with chizik. Slow your roll. No one even talked about a dynasty with bama until our 3rd championship.

Sure thing. Ogre isn’t going to have a dynasty on anything but the local Sonic.

Last season wasn't the kind of slow build that precedes a run of championships or the result of recruiting and developing a can't miss QB out of HS. Further, LSU still doesn't recruit on the O-Line well enough to be elite on O without a special kind of escape artist at QB.

Unless LSU lands Williams next season I say your dynastic expectations are largely unfounded.

You don't have an emerging football dynasty.
How is this different than the past times LSU won a national championship?
Stop acting like a Georgia fan.

Yup. UGA hasn't recruited and developed a can't miss QB either. Who's saying the Dawgs are a dynasty?

Question: If Newman hits and UGA makes a title run next season would we be justified in claiming a streak of championships are coming? No. In fact, I'd say if UGA were to win one UGA fans would be better placed than LSU to make that claim,, but it would still be dumb to do it. It takes more than a QB rental to make a dynasty.
