Question for Kentucky fans

I turned on the TV and saw UNC losing to Notre Dame. Also saw that UNC has a trash record (Vanderbilt-tier). I thought UNC was supposed to be an elite progam. What happened?

Not 100% sure why this is a question for Kentucky fans but...UNC sucks this year. Their coach is on final years of career and brings little enthusiasm to program. They are bad this year.
Still an elite program though.
New coach (the right one) would make them title contender in two years. That is the difference in the elites and the others.

-Kentucky is the conference’s resident basketball school.
-Aren’t UK and UNC bball rivals or something? Y’all have the same colors.

UK blue is not the same as Carolina blue. When I was growing up I always heard God loved the TarHeels, that's why he made the sky Carolina blue. UK blue is closer to Duke blue than UNC blue.

It seems like they’ve had 5 or 6 players rotate with injuries throughout the year (on top of the 2 that suffered season ending injuries early on) so that’s probably created a bit of a challenge for them
