He fought for the arena and was instrumental in the design. He should get recognition

S/O to Tay Waller, the late Vot Barber, DeWayne Reed, Quantez Robertson, and all the other players who had to wade through mediocrity with Lebo

Quantez Robertson. Now that's a name I haven't thought of in a while.

That was actually a very fun team to watch. Tay Waller could get scorching hot.

Robbed. A team not even on the bubble that we dominated twice somehow wins the SEC tournament, and they effectively use that as the reason why we didn't fit in. It was painful watching the committee choose teams with solid OOC resumes that played like utter shite the final 1.5-2 months of the season. You'd think people nationally would be happy for Auburn basketball, but nah.

I'm still pissed about that snub. Sure, 1-seed NIT was a fun ride, but we absolutely should have been a Tournament team.

S/O to Kenny G and Frankie Sullivan who played for Lebo and Barbee

Also Rob Chubb too, he produced some good memes

I remember before that arrest he had a couple good games in a row and it seemed liked he was finally gaining confidence and turning a corner to be the average player he had the potential to be ... And then that happened and his mugshot went viral and that sort of cemented him as being a joke. Must've fricked with his head a lot

I have a lot of respect for Jeff Lebo. He inherited a program destroyed by NCAA sanctions. If he was instrumental in getting a new arena give that man a statue while we’re at it.

Thanks to all those guys. RIP Vot.

Don’t forget Frank Tolbert. One of my all time faves.

Lebo was a great x's and o's basketball coach. But his recruiting was average at best for some reason. And he didn't get the benefit of the new arena, I don't think, but that may nto have helped.

I got to meet Kenny Grabiel a few weeks ago. I went to see Bryce Brown play in the G-league game in Atlanta, but ofc Brown had hurt his ankle 2 nights before and DIDN"T EVEN MAKE THE TRIP. ugh...

But I had courtside seats right across from the Atlanta team bench, and I realized Kenny Grabriel plays for them this year. But ofc HE DIDN'T PLAY EITHER b/c he hyperextended his knee in practice.

But he saw I was wearing my AU hat, and after the game came over to me and shouted 'War Eagle' to me, and we shook hands as he went off the floor...

other than my bad luck...I enjoyed the game...:)

Really liked watching Kenny Gabriel play. If he had any team around him at all his senior year we would've been good.

Lebo’s legacy improved drastically once I saw the horrendous tenure of Barbee up close and in person

I will never forget one year I waited in line as a student for a while, which was rare for the Barbee days for people to get to the games that early, because UK with Nerlins Noel was in town and we were like 8-2 or something with a win against Clemson OOC so people were kinda hoping we were good. I got into the game and at tip off like 3/4 of the student section took off their Auburn gear and had UK gear underneath. It was mostly the vet school which is heavily tied to UK because we give Kentucky residents in state tuition rates to go to Auburn vet school.

So there I was, at a glorified away game in Auburn arena and watched Auburn absolutely get annihilated by a UK team that lost in the first round of the NIT. Only saving grace was Noel had an awesome dunk I got to see in person. Otherwise that game was pretty symbolic of Auburn basketball under Barbee. No hope of being good and any hope you had was quickly and firmly squashed.
