Dang Auburn. That's a serious blow.

not really. D.J. Williams started getting more carries as the season went on. He was a true freshman. Shivers, the dude who trucked bama's "stud", was a more reliable back. Add in the fact that the #2 RB signed with Auburn, we are fine at the RB position. Before last season one of our OL called him out about his lack of commitment. Apparently things didn't change.

This is a sign that Morris is now in charge of AUs Offense. There were players on the bench that Gus refused to play that were better fits for the Offense. Gus played Boobie because he was good for 2-3 yards running up the middle. The Offense lacked a HR threat because of that plan.

Will he join his brother, Titty, at Missouri?

Did somebody ask for the Shivers gif?

I guess it's possible, but it's not like they've had any practice with Morris calling plays to make that determination. I'm not sure this reasoning makes the most sense.

He truly was the breast option we had in the backfield. Not sure how tit will play out in 2020.

Watch where he lands, that will tell you his talent level. Gus played him over some other talented RBs and a lot of the other players were frustrated by it . Morris obviously sees a lack of a big play RB on last years team.

All of that could be true. It doesn't make sense for Morris to run him off the team in February. Let him compete in spring practice and see how it shakes out. Why would a coach want fewer options? Trying to cut payroll to get under the cap?

Exactly. Chad needs a few years to get his own guys in.

I heard he wasn’t willing to do what Morris was asking from him. Part of it was some entitlement issues, other involved workout issues. He has had that attitude for a while , but Gus never called him on it.

Except this is apparently something that's been a long time coming. Apparently he's been habitually skipping classes and showing up late to practices and team meetings, and has been warned about it before.

Chad has plenty to work with. His biggest issue will be finding a TE to fit his plan.

I honestly don't remember being impressed with Boobie one single time.

We should be plenty fine at RB. Oline is a different story.

If true, I can see that. That's a bit different than just the guys behind him are better.
