Did anyone else thoroughly enjoy Clemson not getting the calls in the title game? After the luck, calls, and non-calls they've gotten over the years, from pick plays versus Bama to bullshite ejections of Ohio State safeties to Dabo's tired complaints in the media, I reveled in the non-call on the pushoff on that LSU TD, and I thoroughly enjoyed their MLB getting tossed.

Bout time. frick Clemson.

I mentioned a few times that Clemson wouldn't get any calls in that game. Had Clemson won on a bad call, I sincerely believe those refs would've been maimed or worse. And, I'm leaning towards the worse.

Yes - it was even better that they basically got hammered on the exact same types of calls they got away with the previous few years

- Targeting call (pretty much won the Ohio State game)
- Offensive Pass Interference (they basically shoved off every 50/50 ball against us in 2016 specifically)
- Getting pick played for a TD (we all know)

It was delicious

No. I prefer a well called game, regardless of who benefits from it.

But after the LSU guy s fingers were clearly touching out of bounds, the last OPI against Clemson, and coupling that with the BS "he was forced out" call that favored LSU against Alabama,I don't ever want to hear about the Patrick Peterson "interception" for the rest of my life.

This is the first year, I believe, that Clemson had any 50/50 calls go against them.

The Pac 12 refs weren't exactly helping the Bengals. Clemson got 30 yards worth of penalties on their last TD drive. The targeting call was never made against Clemson on the field. The replay center had to catch it. All in all, the refs weren't doing the Bengals many favors.
