I would probably prefer that but do not care who they match with. As it is now, sometimes that is the only tough game for teams in certain conferences. Just let them have that first one be an OOC opponent.

In a perfect world, we'd have 8 9-team power conferences. Only way in the playoff is win your league, every conference has round robin play.

How you split the leagues, I don't care. And everyone plays major leagues OOC in an 11-game schedule. Then fans and boosters get big matchups at home that won't kill your playoff chances.

That'll never happen, but whatever they can do to beef up OOC scheduling should be No. 1 on the to-do list.
