better than not at all. Moorehead was not working at Moo St and the discipline issues with that fight are just more examples of just a bad fit for whatever reason.
Obviously the hire in Oxford has scared the crap out of the powers at be in Starkville and they made this move because they were afraid just a one year leg up that Kiffin might have is one year too many, and they are correct.
They signed a decent class and they don’t have to worry about losing it. But I would assume if any of the players wanted to enter the transfer portal the NCAA would grant them the exceptions because of the firing!

I mean yeah everyone knew Kiffin was a huge step up from Moorhead.
But we could've worked with Moorhead if he was willing to treat the fanbase and administration with respect and to be able to have a disciplined program. And he just couldn't

Thank you. People calling the firing a stupid decision because Moorhead was 14-12 don’t have any understanding of the situation
Moorhead took one of our best teams we’ve ever had and went 8-5, showed that he has no control over the team with a tutor scandal that in all honesty should have gotten us in bigger trouble than it did, started a guy that beat the shite out of our starting quarterback, and told our fans to kick rocks after Ole Miss gifted us the egg bowl. Not to mention he was supposedly an offensive guru and our offense has been bottom 3 in the league since he got here.
Now, if there wasn’t a plan in place before firing him then yes this could be a shite show but there was definitely a sufficient amount of reason for JoeMo to be shown the door though.

Kiffin is a joke. Miss State could problem hire a platypus as HC and beat Ole Miss in the coming years. Kiffin is more worried about being in the spotlight than he is coaching.

Kiffin bailed on Tennessee and was fired by USC, but he's supposedly gonna win big at Ole Miss. Just like Moorhead was gonna be a big step up from Mullen. I'll believe one of the Mississippi schools wins the West this millenia when I see it.
