He said AU played the toughest schedule, but did he refer to the toughest in the country or SEC? And I'm sure that's based on his opinion... correct? I mean, I hate to side with any aggie but I think they played a tougher schedule that Gus.

They played Oregon as their OOC, LSU and UF on the road, and Bama and UGA at home. I don't think what he said was that absurd really.

His answers concerning the lack of offensive output were laughable...

Any team with Gus as HC has a tough schedule.

What did he say about that? I can't bring myself to look at his face again just yet.

Aggie had to play Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, and Clemson. The difference is Aggie played Georgia on the road, and Clemson is a better ooc opponent that was also played on the road.

If I'm being honest, I would give Gus a little grace and not split hairs on this. It was a tough schedule. They played the PAC 12 champion too in addition to the difficult conference schedule.

I'm so glad there wasn't one more second on the clock in 2016. We got rid of Les and Auburn got stuck with Gus.

Per ESPN -since the AP rankings have been in existence, LSU is the only team to have beaten six top ten teams in the same season. I'd have to say that is the toughest schedule played this year.

Down votes for a question... Gus got you AU fans upset.

Yeah I didn't dig into road vs home games and I'm not saying they had it easy, but damn, how'd they do when they did have an easy schedule? Gus has reached his expiration date at AU.

It's splitting hairs but catch UF and LSU on the road and Oregon neutral site is why someone would say our schedule is harder than A&M. It's splitting hairs, both schedules were tough.

Good point and I guess no HC would stand there and point out how easy their schedule is. I mean saban doesn't do that and their schedule was soft. Maybe not charmin soft but surely it was pillow top mattress soft.

A&M also had Texas State, Lamar, and UTSA. Where Auburn had Tulane, Kent State, and Samford.

It is splitting hairs at the end of the day, but you could make an argument for either schedule.
