Which team has the most wins since 1896, even taking into account the 29 wins illegally stolen from Alabama by the NCAA?
This win total, by the best team to ever exist, atones for Michigan starting college football before most normal people did.
The only reason they currently have the most wins is because they were playing football 20 or 25 years before other teams.
As Alabama starts the new year, expect this total to only increase. Happy New Year!

Because, WillianTayler12, that would not highlight the point at which Alabama overcame all other teams as the very best.
It took them 4 years to get warmed up. Even with that, I'm still thinking about altering that chart to indicate Alabama has 929 wins since 1896. It makes even that much more dominant.

Your brain seems arbitrary. Since 1896, there has been no team with more wins than Big Daddy Bama.
It doesn't get more straightforward than that, Willian. I want each and every poster in this group to be thankful for Alabama.
Be thankful you have had them in your shitty little conference for all these years to make all of your teams more visible to the nation and to prop up the conference stats for you.

Let's acknowledge that Alabama's 10 wins this season aren't factored into this graph yet. So, since 1896, it's actually 939 wins for Big Daddy.

The only reason Alabama has more wins than Ohio State since your arbitrary 1896 cutoff is because they played more games.
Since 1896 it looks like Ohio State is best at winning football games in which they are competing in due to their higher win percentage.

It still wasn't that funny, considering even before that point that Alabama still had more AP/UPI NC's than any other team.
You really can't go back far enough in the history of the sport to a time where Alabama wasn't the best, unless it was before the team was formed.
