Our game shouldn’t have an impact on that as they played us close.
The last two have been awful though.

OU should be permanently banned from the playoffs. They have had their chance and completely blew it.

Could say the same for us and the SEC championship game. But we don’t want to use that same logic for ourselves lol.
Anyone that met LSU was going to run into a buzzsaw. All anyone could hope for was the extra break would break up their rythm....it didn’t. Good luck to the next team up...

Lol okay. The committee, and the old system, base it off of rationale that doesn’t involve head to head competition. Whether by vote or happenstance, it always plays out. Whether it’s we’re in the SEC championship because we play in the East; clemsons in because the acc is down; Boomers are in because they have a high powered offense vs. bad defenses or whatever example you want to use...it doesn’t matter.

That was easily the best of their four playoff teams. That was their one team legitimately good enough to win a national title.

Good Lord. What team should have been 4th then this season, Oregon? Bc that's the only other team with an argument. They'd have gotten beat just as bad. The fact lsu is miles and miles better than everyone else this year doesn't mean the committee got their rankings wrong.
