The money comments are pretty silly. I am sure in an absolute sense A&M is no different than other big institutions with supportive alumni donors.
We just happen to border two 3rd-world level Sh$%hole states in Louisiana and Oklahoma and that makes for glaring disparities.

I lived in texas many years. If you dont think it's a 3rd world state then you are either a retard, or live in a bubble in one of the very few nice gated areas.
