Can't say this is really surprising at this point. I would believe it if you told me the kid decided to commit to Mars Technical college and is catching a ride on Elon Musk's personal rocket. 
Lot of speculation at this point... will wait to see how the smoke clears. Ultimately, he's a luxury add, not a necessity.

I’d still take him. Dude is a monster. His recruitment is bizarre though.
