Now that it's clear that Will Waders has surpassed his high water mark and is on the downhill trajectory, will LSU fans look back at their SEC Title as "worth it" for all the FBI investigations and whatnot?

Well I guess that’s still better than being the Vandy of football like Bama

Are you new to the sport?

Making program judgements in December for college basketball is silly.

LSU may or may not be good this year, but there is talent and time for them to come together. Also a great recruiting class in the works.

You sound a bit scared.

The Hogs last regular season championship was 1994 and it's last tourney championship was 2000.

LSU has three regular season titles since then.

Typical Arkansas fan: talks a lot of shite with nothing to back it up.

My team is 10-1 and has a top 5 recruiting class. What makes you think I would be "scared" of LSU in basketball? Arkansas is a better basketball program by every conceivable metric.

This isn’t the 90s.

Nolan isn’t walking through that door. Arkansas hasn’t been relevant in two decades

Very fair and true statement.

LSU is currently 7-4. Not sure why that is relevant.

LSU wasn’t very good this time last year and won the SEC and went to the sweet 16.

Lots of basketball left to play.

We are very happy with our coach, so I don’t really understand the point of this thread.

Historically, probably.

But Arkansas hasn’t done anything of note for more than 20 years.

All they won was the regular season title. Who gives two craps about that? They don't even get an automatic bid to the Big Dance.

You were big in the mid 90's and you've lived off that ever since.

Congratulations on being SEC basketball's Hootie and the Blowfish.

Arkansas has done nothing in basketball since 1996.

Nearly 25 years. They’re the Tennessee of basketball.

We won a sec championship so that would nullify this discussion

No it doesn't. Did you even read the thread? I mentioned the SEC Title (which I don't think is all that big of a deal to be honest) in the first post. The question is, when all this legal business is all said and done, will LSU fans look to that single SEC regular season title and tell themselves it was worth it? Similar to how Ole Miss says their good season was worth it. Granted, they didn't win the SEC Title, but that's much harder to do in football.

It is said and done now, so the answer is yes, it was worth it.
