I always thought it's because LSU fans like cordogs or something. Yet they aren't called Crawdads.
And Bamma fans aren't called MoonPies.
Auburn fans aren't called Fatback.
UGA fans aren't called Cousins.

Technically I think moonpies would be Tenn..well cousins too if you have ever been to a game there.

Even though this has mostly been a corner of the internet thing (a lot of LSU fans IRL would have no idea what you’re talking about), I feel like I’m more likely to see a corn dog since this started, and I have to say, I do like them. So we could go with this theory.
