Muschamp can no longer be at the signing ceremony. His kid is now a preferred walk-on, who I assume does not need to sign an LOI. Since he's not part of the signing ceremony, I'd assume he won't be able to attend it anymore.

Incorrect. He will be there and he is still allowed to be there.

It's the most entertainment we've had in quite some time football wise. Lord knows we didn't have any during the season.

Louisiana has a lot of instate football talent, but it is very difficult to do well without going out of state....not just Louisiana, but Georgia, Florida and other states, too.

Louisiana has talent but not a lot of talent. The top players are usually really good but there just aren't enough of them. Georgia on the other hand could stock the whole Dawg team. I'm amazed at how many players leave Georgia.

You shouldn't be, really. Georgia has had a huge influx of people come in from up north. A lot of kids did not grow up in Georgia and with their parents being fans of Michigan, Ohio State and other schools, the kids grow up being fans of those schools, too.
For instance.. Chris Hinton from last years class went to greater Atlanta Christian School and signed with Michigan. his family came out of Michigan and grew up Michigan fans. He was the #31 player in the nation. He had a brother, Myles Hinton that signed with Stanford because of his intelligence.

Then there is the 1980 problem.

Then we are inundated and surrounded by Alabama, FSU, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Clemson who all recruit heavily here. Clemson in particular has gotten some major recruits the last few years.

ETA
Georgia also hasn't put that much money into recruiting until Kirby gt there. now we are spending more money that anybody in the country on recruiting, I think.

Again, it's the truth. Burch told Muschamp he would visit if Scar won the national championship, which means Burch will never be in Columbia again lol
