He better take that job. His name has fizzled out for Memphis HC and VT named Justin Hamilton their DC. It's also a high profile job if he can handle the absurdity of Tom Herman.

Memphis wants an offensive minded coach. AAC is a mini version of the Big 12. Actually a better quality of football from top to bottom than the Big 12.

I think they’re afraid of taking a step backwards. And Barry certainly brings that possibility as a head coach.

Memphis is not an easy place to go. They went from Fuente to Norvell and those fans are spoiled now. I don't think the "rebuilding" shtick will work for them.

He should be making a call right now to one Ed Orgeron to be the DC at LSU. That would be the best gig for him now that its available.
