That’s fine for the shock jock types like Stephen A or Bayliss. But considering that Herbstreit has become perhaps THE national authority and voice of college football I would hope he would be above that.

you realize they all work for the same company yeah? KH may not be as over the top in your face about it, but he's still told what to say. The only reason he said that last year because there was a 0.00000% chance it would happen, he knew it wouldn't happen, but knew it would get people (like you) talking. It would be like someone coming out and advocating for utah this week.

I mean think about it..if you're a football discussion show and everyone was in total agreeance with zero controversy, how entertaining woudl that be? How would that be a win for the company? If they spent a full hour last year saying "it's pretty cut and dry folks, here is the top 4. There really isn't any rational way to argue anythign different" that would be boring. But say something stupid and that works peole up.
