All signs point to Lane. Guess I’m onboard the train now.

Not a Leach backer, but an agreement in principle doesn't mean allot without something being signed. There is no statement that it has been signed.

Of not IMHO it does peg his salary as $4mill/year with a $750K bonus at the end of 2020. IMHO he is not worth the amount it would cost to get him here. Likely would have to be something along the lines of $5+ million a year.

Good.

Listened to McShay answer a question about him and Chip Kelly. He said they would never make it in the SEC because they refuse to recruit.

We don’t know if leach can recruit or not. He’s coached his entire career in Lubbock Texas and Pullman Washington. Sat(b)an himself couldn’t recruit to those places.

There is another way to figure that out. Look at the school's average class with Leach and without him.

Yes we do.
His best class was Michael Crabtree and he cracked the top 25. He stuck it out in the 60s after that. Even when he was winning. If he would have improved to better than 40 it would have shown he at least tried.

Think I misspoke and that was his Washington in the 60s, I just know I looked it up after McShay said that and neither really improved their teams recruiting.

I was a Leach fan and a Chip Kelly fan until I had saw the breakdowns. When he did nail top recruits it was at Tech with his high profile coaching tree.

I never saw where Leach signed his contract extension that came without a raise. Has he?
