Anybody else hearing this? I hate spreading rumors about personal life but the rumor is that a TEs gf left him for a QB the night of the ole miss game. Not saying names due to personal matters.

There we go.
That makes sense given how those two worked together thereafter.

Things like that could result in hamstring pulls and shoulder injuries.

If she did then she's a fricking idiot bc the TE has A LOT better chance of getting NFL paychecks than the QB

Walt speaks truth.

I’m also hearing there was a struggle between offense and defense regarding how they approached practice.

There is a video of Haley talking about championship defense and how his unit was starting look like one. He then urged his guys to go kick the olines arse again. I think it was probably a bloodbath when the ones faced each other. That's what practice is supposed to be. Stress yourselves against each other all week and the game is a reward. You can't cheat the game. The offense played like it all year.

Who could’ve ever predicted that the Dooley hire would go south so fast?

Just remarkable.

(I’m being sarcastic.)

Odom let it happen. It's an NFL approach and works when you have a roster of the best players in the world. MU will never have the talent to hope guys get in the right spots. It takes full speed reps, especially on the offensive line. This explains what I watched all year.

I don’t know. It seems most likely. But neither of our TEs who did so well last year did very well this year.

Parker worked hard in the run game the entire season and was really the only bright spot up front. If Bryant boned his GF, his blocking didn't show it.

I'm still amazed that a guy that played as tough as Odom did would allow any part of his team to be coached as soft as he apparently let Dooley coach the offense. He dropped the axe on himself.

That was Odom’s leadership style. Hire the OC and let him be the HC of the offense. He did it with both his coordinators.
