We will do a home and home vs Miami in '26 and '27.
I remember when I was a little kid and we played them routinely when we were both independent and almost without fail fights would break out on the field between us. Bad blood there.
Can't wait.

God I hope this sticks. This is the kind of OOC teams I've been looking forward to.
I get why we play the NC schools and play in Charlotte and it was cool to renew the NC State and UNC rivalries, but man those two schools + ECU in constant rotation were getting stale. Although I am glad that we do get the 1 road trip to ECU. That's a cool little "one-off" type of venue.
I hate that we canceled that GT series which I think was meant for this year and 2020.

I really like this Home and Home series. I want us to face more interesting opponents like this in the future. I'm so tired of a neutral site game with UNC/NCST

:eyeroll: There’s plenty of reasons to hate on Tanner but this is not one of them. I’ve personally been desperate for new and interesting OOC opponents. If you’re letting a 34 year old fight dissuade you from that then you’ve issues my man.

Well, i will be 57 and 58 by then. im sure ill have more pressing issues at that point. lol

Miami will have found their stride by then, be a top 5 team, and beat us by 40. That’s typically how it goes with us.
