We’re still probably favored for the Citrus Bowl, but we at least have a chance at an NY6 now

If No. 4 Georgia were to somehow upset No. 2 LSU in this weekend’s SEC Championship Game, and both schools make the playoff, it would open the door for Auburn to grab one of two at-large bids to a New Year’s Six Bowl. In that scenario, the Sugar Bowl would take Florida -- the highest-ranked non-playoff team from the SEC -- which could lead to Auburn earning a bid to either the Orange Bowl against an ACC opponent, likely Virginia assuming Clemson wins the ACC Championship Game, or to the Cotton Bowl, most likely against the highest-ranked Group of Five champion.

This. I’d love to get the cotton bowl bid over Alabama. Looks like there’s a chance it might happen if pieces fall into place.
