Honestly, I’m kind of looking forward to it at this point. Rather than prepping for a team that frankly isn’t on the same level as the top 3, the team will be totally focused on preparing for a great opponent over the break.

It's not that no one wants to face Clemson, its moreso a Clemson/Ohio State path is harder than a Utah(or whoever)/Ohio State path.
That's just the truth honestly. Nothing to be ashamed of for wanting the 1 seed and the path of least resistance.
With that said, if LSU does wind up the 2 seed then whatever, lets go. We saw how LSU looks with a chip on their shoulder Saturday night so it wouldnt be the worst thing in the world.

Not saying I agree or do not agree, but Utah has actually played a team that is currently ranked. They got beat, but they played a team that is ranked. Has Clemson?

So, it is accurate to say they are more proven
I still think Clemson is one of the top 4 teams in the country, though. Just because a team does not play a tough schedule does not mean they are not good.

It's more of the fact that there are 3 elite teams and a sacrificial lamb @ #4 right now. Wanting to play the lesser team is normal.
