Says Odom willed his own firing.
Said Odom went to President for a public vote of confidence during the season. The President said “wait, we’re not there yet.” Odom goes back and tells everyone that they’re getting fired even though that decision hadn’t been made. Pissed off the President. As the guy said on IG, willed his own firing into existence.

No idea. Saw it linked on TB and found it interesting. I haven’t heard anything like this except from this guy.

Not inconceivable. If you watch Odom at the end of yesterday’s game you’d definitely think he already knew

I wonder if that was the collapse
If so Odom is definitely too dumb to HC

Why would Odom go the the President for a vote of confidence during a losing streak? That makes no sense.

I wonder if he did that after Ole Miss.

This makes sense. What a dip shite.

Why would he be looking for a vote of confidence at 5-1? If it did happen it has to be during the losing streak. But that would be dumb.

Probably thought he had leverage then.

I'm not saying he didnt do it, but asking for a vote of confidence after Vandy, Kentucky or Tennessee would be dumb.

We don’t have to hope that. We aren’t hiring a coach for the recruits they have.

I wonder if he’s going to have a Quin type of story. End up being a really successful coach by the time he’s in his 50’s, but was the wrong coach for Mizzou.

People who get vote of confidences are usually fired within weeks.

I don’t see it. He seems to struggle with the basic idea of managing people. He doesn’t have a cocaine problem to overcome. He needs basic competencies he doesn’t have.
Just my opinion.

He is going to VaTech to replace Bud Foster.

In 2005 Did you think Quin would go on to be 1 of the best coaches in the game?
Both had a reputation when they were hired at Mizzou for really understanding their sports.

That's what I was wondering.
If he did it after Ole Miss that would be an all-time bonehead move. He was all set up for a better contract terms, especially buyout
It also fits the good at football, not good at management narrative we are working on
