Arkansas? They are so bad and mishandled the hiring and firing Chad Morris. Now they have lost a lot of recruits and are in a bigger hole to filled it up with the next head coach. Also depth is a problem with some that transferred out.

We had to can him when we did. If you thought we lost some recruits after he got canned I can assure you that we were losing even more before he got fired. Not to mention the money we were losing due to poor attendance.

Also, to borrow a line from NFL and Pro Wrestling great Ernie Ladd, "the natives are getting restless." If we had not fired Morris after WKU came into our stadium and whipped us with a QB that transferred from Arkansas the big money boosters would have flipped out. See the Chad Morris fiasco for what happens when our boosters get involved in the coaching search.

The most interesting coach I see out there right now is Clark out of UAB. With what he's pulled off at UAB I'm wondering if he cures lepers and walks on water on his days off.

The only problem I can see with Clark is that he's an Alabama lifer. He's never coached outside the state from what I can tell. That could hamper him recruiting at someplace like Arkansas or Missouri.

Flickell might be a solid choice for y'all. He doesn't have a ton of ties to the South but lets face it, y'all are basically a Midwestern state. If you can match Flickell with some folks who do have recruiting ties to the area, and I'd keep whoever has specialized in poaching from Arkansas, than I think he can get you through the sanctions without too much pain.

Yes. I think we’ll see more of that going forward. If you know it’s not the guy in the middle of year 2, stop the bleeding and move on. We should have fired Kim Anderson after one year.
