1-2 draw bye
3-6 play in games. 3-4 get home field week after season is over.
Final 4 continue as is.

I don't understand why people seem hellbent on wanting to expand, it's not liek the system we have doesn't work. The first year in 2014 is really the only time you can legitimately make a case they didn't make a right choice for 1 of the 4 spots. Every other year they've gotten it exactly right. We don't need more computers, we don't need the BCS, and we dont' need 8 teams. It's working just fine as is.

This makes the most sense. Like an NFL conference playoff.
It rewards the top two teams while allowing a 2-loss team to work their way into the title game.

I would rather see it expanded to 8 teams but this is a good alternative.
