You been there lately? Not sure what happened but it ain't the same.

It's been about a year, but I used to eat there alot. My office is close, my inlaws lived 3 blocks away, I ate there often. What and when did something happen?

Been there twice in the last year.Fried Chicken was bland on one visit and greasy the next time.Service was horrible.Mac n cheese was still excellent but that was about it.

Could have caught 'em at a bad time.Who knows but I won't be back.

I think Mary Macs changed ownership a few years ago, or at least management. We used to eat there often but after the last two times we don't go back.
Colonnade is still a great restaurant. We used to go on Sunday for dinner. Get there early or the old folks with walkers and oxygen tanks will get all the tables. Wait staff nearly as old as the restaurant but great service and great food. Georgia mountain trout was always perfect, and the fresh yeast rolls were outstanding. Take a few home for later, or eat them on the drive home.
Don't remember the name, but there used to be a great soul food place near Olympic Park. It was relocated when they built all that. Anyone remember it? Was it Thelma's?
