A friend of a friend did it for her. And she’s had several kids from her high school reach out to her after she got in. One of them is a sophomore in the program now. So it can help either way.

I know nothing about UMKC's program, but if the thought is to be a doctor, I'd imagine that SLU has the best med school. At least from a reputation standpoint.
If money is not a factor, I would imagine the best med school in the state is Washington University but it's super expensive.
My philosophy is go wherever you get the best offer of those choices. All good schools. They will all provide a quality education if you put forth the effort. You will get a job regardless of which one you go to as long as you apply yourself. In other words...no wrong answer.
