He set records as an OC in '11 and '12 and would have in '13 if not for injuries.
He coached the all time leading passer in the SEC and coached another in '14(Hutson Mason)

I thought Bobo made a few horrible situational calls when the game mattered, not running Gurley when the SCU game was on the line and not making Murray spike the ball vs Bama to run a prepared play. Those are just a few, what has changed, has been watching Chaney do the same thing at times. Chaney and Bobo have proven the ability to create effective offenses and Coley frankly cannot find such rhythm with a very experienced qb and one of the top olines in our history.
I am not sure that there is another OC out there today that runs a version of offense that Kirby would accept other than Bobo. UK fans have turned on their OC and the rest of the world is either running air raid concepts or west coast NFL concepts.
