My honest opinion? If A&M can land E.J. Smith or Daniyel Ngata, I think we should pass on Evans.

It's not like he's the next Adrian Peterson, Derek Henry or Leonard Fournette.

Evans is making strides to try to enroll early at the school of his choice, so this recruitment isn’t likely to extend into February. According to the source, the most likely date for his commitment announcement is now Jan. 2 at the Under Armour All-American Game, though he is likely to sign during the early signing period which begins on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

The extended announcement deadline is good news for Texas A&M and Georgia, with Texas A&M perhaps mounting the most serious contention to LSU. Both LSU and Texas A&M have received official visits from Evans this fall...
