Obviously we all know why we lost and it is what it is. No need to rehash it. I will say I’m proud of the guys for fighting their asses off. They never gave up.

Got a Snapchat from a sauce in the team meeting today. Phone held down to not draw attention.

Saban starts with “we lost” long pause maybe 5 seconds. Then loud smashing sound “ so what are you gonna do about it!!!!!, they might put us in the playoff and what will you do with that!!. It’s time to figure out what each of you want out of this season!. Xavier what do you want!”

He went through several players. Hell yeahs and let’s go rang out.

Sauce told me the loud smash was Saban smashing the podium and it fell over.

I’m not into a lot of things but maybe this loss changes our intensity moving forward. If we get another shot at the playoff I think we will be tough to beat.

Sauce said the team responded well. Let’s see.

I hope. But, damn if I can figure out why it takes a loss to jolt players in to playing like we think they may play from now on.

Maybe it is the rat poison.

It’s tough to get through to young folks sometimes. They feel like no matter what Tua can bail us out or they will hold or some crap like that. Sometimes they think no matter what we will pull it out. Either way, they are juiced now their back against the wall.

Our intensity and identity changed during the match. Even Tua grew up and his focus and determination changed.

I don't know why so many people are quiting on this team because of one loss or saying we don't deserve this or that.

I just hope thinga line up because this was the loss we needed to ignite the fire. Now we need a little help, let's hope we get it.

I hate to be a Debbie downer but if 44-16 didn’t motivate you enough coming into this season I’m not sure this will.

Yes, all the freshmen that play now were super motivated by a game they weren’t even around to witness.

1. That's not how life works. That was almost a year ago. Some of these kids never played in that game. Also, they're teenagers and early 20s kids man.

2. We actual fought back and developed character unlike a year ago where we just laid down. It seems like they learned something and grew.

If we could have got one stop we probably make a comeback for the ages.

That’s fair. But last time I checked Jared Mayden,Raekwon Davis, and Trevon Diggs aren’t Freshman

And they were all terrible Saturday

Kids tune out coaches after awhile. They get tired of hearing the same stuff over and over again. Coach Saban alluded to this recently. Got to keep the message fresh and that's not easy. Let's hope we win from this defeat.

And you claim they were terrible because they weren’t motivated? Maybe they had bad games because of factors other than motivation.

Coach Saban said 25 missed tackles, I would be willing to bet less than 5 were by Freshman. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t see this defense figuring it out. Tua and the boys on offense will have to outscore everyone.

No, terrible because they just aren’t any good. I think Terrell Lewis and PS2 are the only 2 on the whole defense that would start on any of the 2008-2016 teams

Our team hadn't been battle tested like LSU and it really showed in the first half. That was LSU's 4th big, spotlight game against a team with similar talent to them. That was our team's 1st game of the season against a team with talent remotely close to ours.

Made too many mistakes in the first half to overcome against a team with that offense.

But I also was proud to see them respond so well to the adversity of the first half. Damn near pulled the thing off. It sucks that the margin of error to win it all is so slim, but thems the breaks. Maybe we'll get lucky. Much crazier things have happened.

I mean, I get this I guess, but LSU has made every single team they've faced look like they made us look.

Why did you think it would be different with us, especially when the offense put them in such bad positions the entire first half?

They stepped up in the third quarter and allowed us to come back. There is something to be said for that coming out of the half. Yeah, the 3rd downs and bad tackling sucked, but LSU's offense is going to make pretty much any team they play look bad.

Seriously, have we ever played against a big time team that barfed up multiple unforced mistakes like we did the other night?
The only one comes to mind is the interception thrown on 1/9/12 by the LSU QB

Maybe UGA in the rain. Pick 6 and blocked punt for TD.

This team hasn't gotten better as we weeks have passed. This bunch don't have the right stuff between the ears. Nick needs to change his approach and start kicking some azz. Put 5,7,and 21 over their with Ben Davis and they can shuck and jive with the DJ's playlist.

Which was confirmed by several people. However this was a video so I guess you could say whatever but I listened to it.
