If they made an ALABAMA fan in a lab it would be Harvey Updyke. All the classic characteristics, the ignorance, the myopic worldview, the malevolence, the childishness, the COMPLETE living vicariously through the football team, the belief that fandom infers some kind of excellence upon oneself, the lack of respect for the opponent and the game, the redneckery, The low IQ, the lack of all sense and proportion, etc etc.
