Bama fans, do you believe we will see ISHMAEL SOPSHER in this game?

Number 2 DT from last years class and Louisiana native who has yet to see the field. Is this the game where he might see some action because it’s LSU? Is he still in the Saban dog house? Do y’all wish Bama had never spent a perfectly good dodge charger on him?

This is exactly LSU fan's problem.

I think LSU is more concerned about Lewis right now.

Wrong.
LSU isn’t a bottom dweller, thus, Lewis will be a nonfactor.

I’d be shocked if he entered the game.

Going to assume you want a real answer.
Sopsher was always looked at as a guy with a massive amount of talent who would need a year and off-season to mold his body, and probably a year or so to adjust to playing big time football at a high level every snap.
Nobody expected him to step in Day 1 and play. We'll see in 2020 if he's taken a step or not.

That lazy fricker may never start at bama. That was the knock on him coming out of hs is his motor and his effort. Something like that can't be coached. A player either plays hard every down or doesn't. He doesn't.

You guys give up an awful lot of sacks to not even concern yourself the SEC's leading sacker.

So it’s fair to say every Bama fan is like cajubama and coachcrisp?

Yes, Thank You! I was really looking for an answer to the question and decided to throw a little Bama jab humor in there. I was genuinely curious to know if he’s making any progress from earlier reports of his lack of effort and conditioning. You would expect a number 2 DT to have the ability to step up and play from day 1.

lol. Can Joseph Burrell do the worm like the other Lsu qbs?

Sabin is prolly content letting him rot in obscurity, since it was a game of "keep away" from LSU to begin with.

We don't really know, but it was assumed by most that he'd be a bit of a project in terms of getting that talent out of him and building his body.
He was clearly ranked so high mainly based on potential, but he has to want to unlock it. It'd be nice to see him turn into a good player, because the rest of his freshman class of front 7 have been really contributing already : DJ Dale, Justin Eboigbe, Byron Young, Shane Lee, Christian Harris.
